Feeling overwhelmed with what you’re going to wear for you session? Have a hard time dressing yourself on the day-to-day? Yeah, me too. I’m here to help and guide you through outfit selection so you’ll look and feel your best in your family photos. Here are some quick tips:
- No whites or blacks unless they’re layered.
- Please do not match everyone’s outfits. We want colors and outfits to coordinate, not blend together.
- Choose a favorite item of clothing and coordinate the rest based on that color scheme. Choose 2-3 main colors and add accents.
- Layer up and accessorize as this adds dimension and interest to your images.
- Dads, please do NOT wear tube socks or white socks. They will stick out in photos.
- Avoid super baggy and skin tight clothing, since we are looking to flatter your figure.
- Avoid tanning as it can appear orange in photos.
- Make sure nails are clean or freshly painted.
- Haircuts should happen about a week or so before the session, not the day before.
- Bring an extra outfit just in case.
